Ministry

Ministry is both a calling and a profession. It is a joy and a privilege. In order to be able to do this work and to continue doing this I believe it my sacred obligation to put God's work into practice.

The Plymouth Church in Framingham

I have served The Plymouth Church in Framingham since 2004. First, as the Associate Minister until, after a two-year discernment process I was called as their Senior Pastor, in 2014. This church is an incredible community of people who are genuinely open and loving.

Open & Affirming Covenant

“We believe all people are created in the image of God, and we embrace Jesus' call to love one another. We commit ourselves to the ongoing work of being an Open and Affirming congregation. We strive, with God's grace, to welcome all persons into our community. We celebrate our differences, including age, race, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, socioeconomic status, mental and physical ability, and spiritual tradition. We invite all to share fully the life, leadership, ministry and sacraments of this church. Trusting in the Holy Spirit, we journey together in faith.”

Africa Exchange Project

The Africa Exchange Project provides access to clean water, quality education and reliable healthcare in Pomerini, Tanzania. Our primary work is building relationships.

Racial Justice

Discipleship in the United States requires a commitment to racial justice. Racism and white supremacy is an evil that cannot be ignored or minimized. It is a disease of white people and it is white people's responsibility to be a part of the healing and repair. There are endless places to get started. Just promise me you'll start:

So You Want to Talk About Race, Ijeoma Oluo

How to Be an Anti-Racist, Ibram X. Kendi

The Fire Next Time, James Baldwin

"White Supremacy Culture," Tema Okun

A Failure of Nerve
